About me...
My name is Bill Suboski. I have 30+ years programming experience
on platforms as diverse as mainframe Fortran, web servers, IBM PC's
and 6502 machine language.
In 1996 I began building websites. I cold-called businesses, knocked on doors,
and sold my web design services. I developed a content management system
and provided staff training so that my clients could update their sites in-house.
I started exploring more sophisticated web pages and interfaces. I started
prototyping certain kinds of pages by hand, then when all worked well, I would
write a computer program that would do the tedious coding for me.
The length of the Hangman interfaces found
here could
not practically be coded by hand. Further, the
interface
allows even non-technical users to quickly create new games.

My current project is the development of an educational website, primarily geared
to elementary-school kids, special needs kids, and those with learning disabilities.
Key to this is entertaining, interactive Internet-based games, with a teaching
component, that also track the students performance. This tracking allows analysis,
both to recognize progress and to identify areas for further effort.
In contrast to most methods, my technique for tracking is surprisingly simple,
while capturing all information as to student responses. Given appropriate
statistical reports - beyond the scope of the current project - a finely grained
assessment of student progress is possible.

portions may or may not be functioning at any given time.
Coming soon...my blog...strong opinions ahead.
